Fuyutski is the second in command of the NERV facilities. He, like Gendou, is very calm and collected, but he is seen as the one who cares more for the situation.

Before the Second Impact he was a professor at Kyoto University. Fuyutski always had suspicions that Gendou knew more about the Second Imapact than he was letting on. Later, after hearing the truth, he joined NERV.
