| Site - OTD History |
One Tear Drop or OTD, The History about the greatest Anime Site on the net ^_^, ok but
seriously u want the history here it is.
It all begun many years ago, um 2 i think...... I went to one of Newzealands big gaming expos,
well its only gaming expo, Armageddon, i cruised around for a coulpe of hours and ended up
getting priddy bored i ended up seeking reefuge from all the fat sweating geeks that dont know
how to use deoderent. And where did i end up u ask? None other then the Anime veiwing room. I
sat near the back and obsevered my surroundings, An average sized room completly dark with
a Rear Projection Screen, and also no BO smells. I sat down down and began to
observe.....Hmmmm whats this, Tenchi Muyo eh? Hmmmm.......The Legend Begins
And there u have it my obsestion with Anime begun, about 4 months l8er of surfing the Net i
found i decent site and downloaded a couple of Tenchi Muyo episodes not bad, but i needed
more. One fateful day i stumbled upon an Afillate of a Tenchi site who based there site on
something called, Neon Genisis Evangelion, yet i didnt no this would become my favourite Anime
of them all.......
I asked my friend about some Anime;
~ "Have u ever Heard of Sumthing Called Evang..., Evangelion (i Couldnt even pronounce it yet)"
~ "Yea! Evangelion rules, You gotta watch it", Hes from HongKong of course he knows what it is
^_^
I stared for looking for Evangelion Episodfes on the net, Oh Goody 70MB per episodes oh
well.
Depressed with no Anime to watch back to all these crap American cartoons *Sigh*.....
After work one day i decided to rent a couple of videos, i see a section called Foriegn/Cult,
Hmmmm...Eva is Foriegn, Hmmmm...I guess Eva has a Cult Following, Hmmmmm...Pushing
my way past all the old men trying to sneak into the Porno section with out being seen, i ended
up at this oddly named SectionM
*Gasp* *Heart Attack*
"Neon Genisis Evangelion: Volume 2"
Yessss finally, I looked to see if there was anymore "damn" i didnt see any. What did it matter i
found one of them at least. I watched it about 10 times that week and ended up coming back to
the Video store returing it and going back to the same oddly named section.
*Gasp* *DAMMIT* ~"Theres the frickin Volume 1 Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" Oh well now i got to
watch volume one. I continued going back and forth and eneded up renting all the episodes and
enjoyed them very much. Thats when the site building begun.
Alot of my friends where begun site construction for many things especially ConterStrike since
we got a Clan going, to bad we renamed it lilke 4 times....We gave up on building that site. But i
had sum different ideas. I started construction on an Tenchi site. I thought whats one of the first
things a site needs....? Um I know! a really really good Name! I thought about Tenchi Muyo and
my favourite Character Ryoko ^_^, And thought about tears falling for love, lost friends
hmmm....Very Tenchi like and along the way came up with TearDrop hmm i need three words
Got It! OTD (I seared the net and actually found sum thing called OTD already but i did come up with this name my self even if sumone else may have used it for sumthing)

i got about as far as coming up with a name because i had sum better ideas for OTD....... 2 Days
Earlier ~~~~~~~~~~ (Squiggles representing back Flash)
I went back to the Same odly named section ^_^ and looked for sum more anime, and i found
GunSmith Cats Volume1 and a Couple of Episodes of Burn Up W, ok i got them and watched
them and of course like them heh.
Ok an Anime site not just consisting of Tenchi but Evangelion, Gunsmith Cats, Burn Up W,
BubbleGum Crisis and many more. I decided to dedicate the site on one of my Favourite Anime
Characters Asuka Langley Sohryu. And so began OTD.
