Kaworu Nagisa is the fifth child. He is the pilot of Eva Unit 02 when Asuka cannot battle anymore. He was sent to directly to NERV from SEELE. He acts very strange and has a strong emotional bond with Shinji. Kaoru is the first person that Shinji tells about his life.Kaworu has the highest sync ratio of all the pilots. In fact, he can make is sync ratio whatever he wants. He doesn't even have to be in the entry plug to control it.
